Long-Tailed Terrorists Benefit From Bottomless Garbage Cans
The MTA is experimenting with see-through trashcans:

Officials have deployed a translucent trash can, fitted with a clear bag, at a downtown Brooklyn subway station, making it possible for police or passing straphangers to spot potentially dangerous packages that might be left behind. The square bins — covered on four sides by glass or a glass-like surface — are expected to pop up at other stations when the TA moves into a full-fledged pilot program, sources said.

The clear can is shorter and holds less refuse than the regular ones in use. If not emptied more often, spillovers will occur, allowing the subway’s four-legged, long-tailed terrorists to grow fatter.
