A man on trial for killing an ATM technician in Yonkers testified that a really bad man made him do it:
A Brooklyn man accused of killing an ATM technician during a robbery last year in Yonkers testified yesterday that the real killer was a man he could not identify who forced him to help by threatening his girlfriend and son.
In response, the prosecutor chided him for not being a little more like Jack Bauer:
Paul Douglas’ version of the April 2004 murder earned him an antagonistic, sometimes mocking, cross-examination by a federal prosecutor who pointed out that Douglas had been a cop in his native Jamaica and should have been able to escape such a scheme.
