Stealing Full Kegs . . . The Chutzpah!
A Staten Island man was arrested for trying to steal a full keg of bear from a Port Richmond bar:
A Mariners Harbor man may have been in the grip of a powerful thirst when, authorities said, he tried to steal a full keg of beer from a Port Richmond Center bar.
Now, Edward Brown, 45, of the 100 block of Brabant Street, is in the grip of the law.
Brown was arrested at 3:10 p.m. Friday after he entered the rear of the Dugout Pub at 1614 Forest Ave., ignoring clearly posted signs, according to police reports.
The signs presumably clearly stated that walking off with full kegs was forbidden . . .
In other Staten Island crime news, ten people were arrested for driving while intoxicated, with six of whom blowing an average of .135 on their Breathalyzer tests.
