One of the spaces on the remodeling list is the city’s Albany lobbying operation, where Bloomberg spied a computer solitaire game on a $27,000-a-year clerk’s computer in February and had him axed.
But officials insist there’s no connection between that widely publicized firing and the office overhaul.
If workers have concerns about the impending loss of their privacy, they’re not about to say so.
“If it makes the mayor happy, it makes us happy,” was all one city employee would say.
